Diversity, confidence and pragmatism are characteristics of the Manchester creative industries as profiled in a new report.
The free report, produced by The Drum magazine, supported by the IPA and Creative Skilset, features leading creative businesses from the design, advertising, digital and other creative sectors.
It identifies the successes and challenges that shape the city's creative present and could drive its future, and includes contributions from business owners, the IPA, Creative Skillset and other organisations.
Areas identified as having potential for future growth include digital media businesses, TV production and post-production houses and, more generally, businesses with a clear proposition and the ability to change.
