ARCHITECTS, MOVIEs AND MUSIC FEATURE IN Q4 SURVEY
International trade advisers reported a steady fourth quarter for the UK’s creative businesses as James Bond and British architects found success overseas.
Architects such as Foster + Partners, which created the newly-opened City Hall in Buenos Aires (seen in its early stages below) help spread the international reputation of UK creativity.
Other key findings from the Q4 2015 UK Creative Industries Tracker Survey include:
- 35 per cent of respondents thought UK creative exports to their markets had increased in the previous three months, with 64 per cent reporting this unchanged from the high levels reported over the summer.
- TV, film, architecture and music sectors attracted most interest in overseas territories.
- 58 per cent expected sentiment towards the UK’s creatives to improve in the next three months – down from 64 per cent in the previous quarter.
