The annual event traditionally takes place on the third Saturday in April. However, 2021 will see the celebration taking place on 12th June. Record Store Day, supported by BBC Sounds, is the one day of the year hundreds of record shops in the UK (and thousands more around the globe!) come together to celebrate their unique and independent culture and the art of vinyl. Special vinyl releases are made exclusively for the day with parties and live performances taking place in record shops all over the world. More information about #RSD21 to follow soon!
