2022 CITIB Case: Theatre

The world-leading UK Theatre sector is a key contributor to the exports of the creative industries, both in terms of economic benefit and soft power.In economic terms, the combined gross revenue of three UK led and originated productions – Phantom of the Opera, Mamma Mia! and Cats is over $13.6bn, exceeding that of the James Bond ($7.8bn) and Wizarding World (Harry Potter) ($9.7bn) film franchises.
