This year's Collect 24 art fair will feature new names to the crafts scene as well as internationally established makers.

In its 20th anniversary year, the event running from 1-3 March 2024 at Somerset House in central London will offer opportunities for new industry talent and newcomers to Collect as well as more established craftspeople.

Event organiser the Crafts Council has highlighted some of those exhibiting who are new to the annual Collect fair. On its website, the Crafts Council features some of these unfamiliar practitioners, including:

Qin Zhang

Qin Zhang’s jewellery, showing with BR Gallery, often references sea life and uses fragile materials that highlight the vulnerability of sea environments to climate change.

Solenne Jolivet

Jolivet was formerly an embroiderer for fashion houses such as Yves Saint Laurent, Louis Vuitton, and Schiaparelli. She uses her stitching skills to produce vibrant 'yarn paintings', which will be showcased at Collect under Ruup & Form gallery.

Kye-Yeon Son

Kye-Yeon Son was a Loewe Foundation Craft Prize finalist in 2019. For her Collect debut with Craft Alliance Atlantic Association she’ll be bringing a selection of pieces, including those from her sculptural Innatus Forma series on the 'persistent transformation' of tree trunks.
