Design for Planet Festival 2023

Online workshops and panel discussions from organisations including Visa, TOAST, Smile Plastics, Fairphone, BIOHM, and Peers for the Planet will feature in this year's Design for Planet Festival, run by the Design Council.

For 2023, the theme is COLLABORATE. Collaboration can take many different forms including: consumers, working with nature, AI development, building supply chains, cross-industry business ventures, gathering together practices of different disciplines from engineering to performing arts.

Topics covered will include fashion and the climate crisis, repairability, designing regeneratively, and inclusiveness in innovation.

Festival partners include the Arts and Humanities Research Council, Innovation UK and the University of East Anglia. The Guardian is the media partner.
