Bloomberg HQ Wins Stirling Prize

Bloomberg by Foster + Partners has won the 2018 RIBA Stirling Prize.

Bloomberg’s European HQ has been credited as the world’s most sustainable office and is thought to be the largest stone building in the City of London since St Paul’s Cathedral.

Six buildings were shortlisted for the coveted 2018 RIBA Stirling Prize for the UK’s best new building.

The RIBA Stirling Prize is judged against a range of criteria including design vision; innovation and originality; capacity to stimulate, engage and delight occupants and visitors; accessibility and sustainability; how fit the building is for its purpose and the level of client satisfaction.

The RIBA Stirling Prize is sponsored by Almacantar.
