news: crafts consults with Govt

The Crafts Council has submitted a document to the Government's Industrial Strategy consultation.

The Council welcomes the consultation and endorses the Government's recognition that the creative industries are among the UK's key strengths. It also supports the Creative Industries Council submission to the process, and is "fully committed to the development and realisation of the proposed Sector Deal".

It responds to the questions in the Government's Green Paper about the priorities and elements that should be in the UK's future industrial strategy in relation to crafts businesses.
